Privacy policy
kaban is built by the Forge team. This page explains, in plain terms, what data the app stores and how it is used.
What we collect
Your account email, display name, and the content you create in kaban — projects, columns, cards, labels and comments. Nothing more.
Why we collect it
To run your account, show your boards, sync changes between members of a project, and send the few transactional emails kaban needs (verification, password reset, project invitations).
Who can see your projects
Only you and the people you invite to a specific project. Invitations are per project: a member added to one project cannot see your other projects.
Transactional email is delivered through Resend from noreply@contact.forgeconsole.app. We do not send marketing email and we do not sell or share your address.
Security
Access is enforced per row in the database, passwords are stored hashed, traffic is encrypted in transit, and two-factor authentication is available in Settings.
Your control
You can edit your profile, change your password, remove members, and delete projects at any time. Deleting a project removes its columns, cards and members. Ask us to delete your account and everything tied to it goes with it.
